OWENSBORO, Ky. (Sept 17) – The Tigers were dealt a 17-0 loss by Kentucky Wesleyan Thursday night in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play at Steele Stadium.
The Salem International women's soccer team (0-2, 0-2 G-MAC) were outshot 39-2 in the match and allowed 10 first half goals to the Panthers (2-1, 2-1 G-MAC), who added several more in the second stanza, including four in the game's final 20 minutes.
Salem International continues play when they head to Nashville, Tennessee to take on Trevecca Nazarene in another league contest. The opening kickoff is set for 7 p.m. (local), 6 p.m. central.
