Natalia Rodriguez scored her first collegiate goal against Washington Adventist University on Monday (Oct. 10) in women's collegiate soccer action. The Shock would score the next two goals of the contest en route to a 6-1 victory.

The Tigers head to Rensselaer, Indiana on Wednesday night (Oct. 12) to face Saint Joseph's College at 7:00 p.m. SIU returns home to Catalano Stadium on Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 18) to host Walsh University at 2 p.m.

Rodriguez' score would be assisted by sophomore midfielder
Kara Kocurek. The Tigers were leading for the first time this season before a pair of late goals by the Shock made it 2-1 at half.

The Shock would extend their lead to 3-1 early in the second half of play and close out the scoring by netting a sixth goal.

Jordan Whitaker each finished with three shots on goal.
