Amanda Allred, Salem International University would drop a 5-0 decision against Saint Joseph's College Wednesday night (Oct. 12) in women's collegiate soccer action. Allred faced a total of 20 shots in net for the Tigers.
The Pumas would open up the scoring in the third minute of play as Carley Patterson scored after receiving a pass from Maddison TeStroete inside of the box. Kennedy Hathaway would make it 2-0 with a tally in the 14th minute on a shot from the top of the box that would find the top left corner of the net.
Saint Joseph's found the back of the net three more times over the final 24 minutes of the first half to take a 5-0 lead into the locker room.
Allred would face a total of 16 shots in the first half of action, making 11 saves in net for the Tigers.
Allred and the Tigers defense would keep the Pumas off of the scoreboard in the second half.
The Pumas registered nine shots in the second half, with four finding their way on net.
Saint Joseph's held a 9-0 advantage in corner kicks and was called offsides five times.
