VIENNA, W.Va. (Sept. 13) – The Tigers were knocked off by Ohio Valley, 3-0 (25-11, 25-19, 25-16) Tuesday night.
The Salem International University volleyball team falls to 2-7 overall, while the Fighting Scots improve to 2-7 this season.

Rachel Hess (Stuttgart, Germany/Patch) led the Tigers with seven kills, while freshman
Justine Ramirez (Lubbock, Texas/Coronado) guided the offense with a team-high 14 assists. Salem's defensive efforts were led by sophomore
Sophie Freihofer (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) with 10 digs.
The Tigers return to Salem for their home opening matches on Saturday, September 17 when both Kentucky Wesleyan (9 a.m.) and West Virginia Wesleyan (3 p.m.) come to the T. Edward Davis Gymnasium. Live video and statistics will be available for both matches, including the neutral site match between the two visiting teams.
