Tigers head to Ohio for Wednesday night battle with Tiffin

TIFFIN, OH - The Salem International University men's basketball team will play its second-of-three consecutive road games on Wednesday night (Feb. 9) in Tiffin, Ohio against the Tiffin University Dragons. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at The Gillmor Student Center. Live stats and audio for tonight's contest will be available at siutigerpride.com.

This will be the only meeting this season between the Tigers and Dragons. It is the first meeting between the two programs since Feb. 16, 2012 as the Dragons recorded an 89-80 victory against the Tigers inside T. Edward Davis Gymnasium. The last win for SIU against Tiffin came on Jan. 4, 2011 in a 91-88 decision in TIffin.

Tiffin is 10-13 overall on the season and 2-3 in its last five games. The Dragons fell at home against Ohio Dominican University (82-74) on Feb.4 and will have two more home dates after hosting SIU.

SIU will travel to Vienna, WV on Saturday, Feb. 11 for a 4 p.m. matchup with Ohio Valley University. The Tigers and Fighting Scots play each other twice in the span of 11 days, as OVU will come to Salem on Feb. 22 for the Tigers final contest of the season. SIU returns home to face Malone University on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. before hitting the road to face Kentucky Wesleyan.
