PAINESVILLE, Ohio- The Salem University volleyball team fell to Lake Erie (3-0) and Notre Dame College (3-0) Tuesday.

Salem fell behind to host Lake Erie in three straight sets (25-9, 25-13, 25-5) for a 3-0 win.

The Storm led the Tigers in kills (44-13), digs (54-47) and aces (13-0) while Salem led with blocks (4-1).

Junior
Liane Moser led the Tigers with five kills and two blocks while senior
Cassidy Pluta picked up seven assists and 11 digs.

The Falcons took three-straight sets against the Tigers for a 3-0 win (25-18, 25-13, 25-9).

Notre Dame led Salem in all major statistical categories including kills (37-19), digs (45-38), aces (10-3) and blocks (4-3).

Moser led the team in kills with six, while Pluta added 15 assists and sophomore
Alaina Weltz notched 10 digs from the back row.

The Salem University volleyball team is set to host Davis & Elkins Friday at 7:00 p.m. on Mike Carey Court.
