SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Salem University men's soccer team dropped its match 2-0 to Slippery Rock, Tuesday evening.
With the loss, Salem falls to 0-3, while Slippery Rock improves to 1-2.
Slippery Rock outshot the Tigers 20-8, while the Tigers garnered more saves 7-3.

Wiktor Stawski notched a game-high seven saves and allowed two goals.

Federico Toschi led the Tigers attack, with three shots and one shot on goal.
At the 38:24 mark, Slippery Rock was awarded a penalty kick, as George Oakley stepped-up and scored to take a 1-0 advantage over the Tigers.
In the second half, The Rock's Alexander Vilcheck found a cutting Justin Minda who scored Slippery Rocks second goal of the evening for a 2-0 lead.
Salem returns for its home opener Thursday against Findlay at 4:00 p.m.
