Salem University hopes to get back on the winning track as the Tigers travel to Slippery Rock, Pa., Sunday to take on Slippery Rock University in NCAA Division II men's basketball. Tip-off is 3 p.m.

After posting a three-game winning streak at home, Salem (4-5) is looking to snap a two-game losing skid. The Tigers fell 102-99 in double overtime Tuesday at Point Park University.
Fonz Hale led five Tigers in double figures with a season-high 26 points off the bench.
Jordan Forbes, who posted a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds, also recorded six of Salem's 25 steals as the Tigers forced 31 turnovers.

Slippery Rock (4-4) also suffered an overtime loss in its last outing, falling to Shepherd University 83-80 last Saturday.

In last year's meeting, Slippery Rock broke away from a seven-point halftime lead for a double-digit victory.
Malique Ross led the Tigers with 14 points.

Salem plays at Glenville State University Thursday, then is off for Christmas Break until a New Year's Eve afternoon match-up at Clarion University.
