The Salem University men's basketball team plays its final contest before Christmas Break as the Tigers travel to Glenville, W.Va., this afternoon to take on Glenville State College. Tip-off is 1 p.m.

Salem (4-6) is coming off a 72-69 loss Sunday at Slippery Rock University. The Tigers cut a late nine-point deficit down to a single point and had a chance to play for the winning basket, but Slippery Rock held on for the win.
Jordan Forbes (23 points, 14 rebounds) and
Ralph Diaz (10 points, 13 rebounds) both recorded double-doubles for the Tigers.

Glenville State (8-2) won a shootout Sunday at Fairmont State University 125-111. The Pioneers rank second in the nation in scoring with 103.8 points per game.

Today's contest is the two teams' first meeting in two years. The Tigers fell 76-75 on a three-pointer with four seconds left.

After today, Salem will be idle until December 31 when the Tigers travel to Clarion University.
