KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Women's basketball fell short on the road to Kutztown 93-76, Wednesday evening.
With the loss, the Tigers drop to 6-18 on the season, while Kutztown improves to 14-10.
The Golden Bears led the game in field goal percentage 50.8 percent (32-63) as the Tigers finished the game with 42.9 percent (27-63). Kutztown posted a three-point percentage of 47.1 percent (16-34) making four times the amount of shots from behind the arc than the Tigers with just 22.2 percent (4-18).
The Tigers shot 75.0 percent (18-24) from the free throw line as the Golden Bears made 76.5 percent (13-17) of their free throws. Kutztown's bench produced 53 points compared to the Tigers' 23 points.

Daniela Quesada-Villalobos and junior
Precious Price who each netted 15 points.

Nia Bishop also scored double digits, knocking down 11 points with a team-high five assists. Freshman
Kayla Hall notched 9 rebounds for the Tigers.
Kutztown posted a seven-point lead (14-7) in the first quarter until Salem went on an 8-2 run to tie the game 16-16 after a pair of free throws from junior
Endia Jones with 3:13 left in the quarter.
The Golden Bears were led by Alexis Smith who netted 26 points as teammate Zoe Zerman knocked down 23 points.
Salem heads to Bluefield State to face the Big Blues Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
