KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Salem University women's tennis team defeated Kutztown 6-1, Monday afternoon.
This marks the tenth-straight victory for the Tigers bringing them to 13-2.
Sophomore
Brianna Vasquez and classmate Iryan Rusyn defeated Malik and Pursell 7-6, while freshman
Karolina Glowinska and freshman
Ana Kunic won 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
Freshman
Julia Piatek and sophomore
Kristina Vuksanovic downed Seifert and Navarro 6-0 at No. 3 doubles for the doubles point.
Piatek won over Malik 6-1, 6-0 at No.1 singles, while Kunic won 6-0, 6-2 over Pursell at No.2.
Rusyn defeated Maher 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3, as Glowinska downed Grebosky 6-0, 6-1 and at No.4 and Vuksanovic claimed victory over Toryczyk 6-0, 6-1, at No.5 for the 6-1 team victory.
The Tigers are back in action Wednesday as they host Shaw at 10:00 a.m.
