SALEM, W.Va. – The Salem University women's tennis team earns its eleventh-straight win over Shaw 4-0, Wednesday.
The Tigers got a one point advantage after winning twice in doubles. At No. 1 freshman
Karolina Glowinska and freshman
Ana Kunic beat Mantelon and Dibe 6-1, while freshman
Julia Piatek and sophomore
Kristina Vuksanovic dominated Jovanovic and Manyonga 6-0 at No. 2.
The Tigers earned a win by default in the last double to gain a 1-0 lead.
For singles, Piatek downed Jovanovic 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1, while sophomore
Iryna Rusyn swept Manyonga 6-0, 6-0. Sophomore
Brianna Vasquez earned another default win for the Tigers to finish the match 4-0.
The Tigers travel to face Fairmont State on Monday.
