GLENVILLE, W.Va. –The Salem University baseball team dropped a heartbreaker on the road to Glenville State 8-7, Thursday night.
With the loss, Salem falls to 23-18, while Glenville improves to 10-22.
Senior
Harrison Hollis was 2-for-3 with one RBI, one home run and three runs scored, while junior
Dalton Robison was 2-for-4 with one RBI.

James Wiseman received the start as he allowed three hits and four earned runs with four strikeouts in four innings pitched.
The Tigers got on the board first as Robison doubled to center as Hollis crossed home for the 1-0 lead. In the next at-bat, junior
Walker Dodero hit an RBI ground out as junior
Tyler Ault crossed home plate for a 2-0 advantage in the top of the first inning.
In the top of the third, Salem added another run as sophomore
Tyler D'Alessandro singled to right as senior
Jimmy Cramer touched home plate for a 3-0 advantage over the Pioneers.
Glenville added a run in the bottom of the third to cut into the Tiger lead, 3-1.
Hollis notched his eighth home run of the year in the top of the fourth as he launched a solo shot over the left field wall for a 4-1 lead.
Glenville added four runs in the bottom of the fifth on two hits to take a 6-4 lead.
The Tigers added one run in the top of the seventh as sophomore
Austin Whetzel doubled to left field as Dodero scored to cut the lead to 6-5.
The Pioneers added another run in the seventh to take a 7-5 lead.
Salem tied the game 7-7 as Hollis scored on an error and Dodero doubled as Robison scored in the top of the eighth.
Glenville's Smith hit a walk-off homer to right field in the bottom of the ninth to win 8-7.
The Tigers are back in action Tuesday as they host Charleston at 1:00 p.m.
