Just two days after ending the previous decade with its second consecutive win, Salem University hopes to stay on the winning track in the new decade as the Tigers travel to Urbana, Ohio, this evening to take on Urbana University in NCAA Division II men's basketball. Tip-off is 7:30 p.m.

Salem (6-6) used a 22-0 first-half run to take the lead for good and withstood a late rally to defeat Clarion University 87-75 on New Year's Eve. Jordan Forbes scored 22 of his 25 points in the second half and pulled down 13 rebounds for his fourth consecutive double-double. Shawn Christian and Fonz Hale hit key three-pointers in the final 75 seconds to seal the win.
 
Urbana (3-8) is playing for the first time since December 20 when the Blue Knights fell to Tiffin 76-71.
 
The two teams split a pair of close games last season, each winning on its home court. The Tigers won the first meeting 78-72 and dropped the second contest 88-83.
 
Salem returns to Ohio Sunday to face Notre Dame College, then plays its first home game in more than a month Tuesday as the Tigers play host to Central State University.
