Marko Tutunovic recorded his second double-double of the season as Salem University extended its winning streak to three with a 73-63 victory over Urbana University in NCAA Division II men's basketball Thursday at Urbana, Ohio. The Tigers led by as many as 18 points in the second half after trailing at halftime.

Ross scored eight of the Tigers' first 11 points in the second half as Salem (7-6) took the lead for good at 40-37 with 15:44 left to play.
Shawn Christian hit a pair of three-pointers and
Ralph Diaz's three-point play with 5:26 remaining extended the lead to 62-52 as the Tigers held a double-digit advantage the rest of the way.

A pair of
Aleksa Dobrijevic free throws with exactly two minutes left gave Salem its biggest lead at 73-55. Urbana (3-9) scored the final eight points of the contest.

Salem built a double-digit advantage in the first half as a Dobrijevic three-point play and a
Fonz Hale three-pointer staked the Tigers to a 24-9 lead with 7:15 left before halftime. Urbana tied the game with 15 unanswered points and Kyle Kegley's three-pointer with 34 seconds left gave the Blue Knights a 30-29 lead at the break.

Urbana scored the first points of the second half before Ross helped put Salem back on top to stay.

Ross was 7-for-9 from the floor as Salem shot 52.0 percent from the field as a team. Tutunovic finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds to go with five assists and three steals. Christian also had 12 points, while
Jordan Forbes added 10 points.

Kegley led Urbana with 15 points and nine rebounds.

Salem returns to Ohio Sunday to face Notre Dame College, then plays its first home game in more than a month Tuesday as the Tigers play host to Central State University.
