After playing its last seven games on the road, the Salem University men's basketball team has its first home game in more than a month this evening as the Tigers play host to Central State University in NCAA Division II action. Tip-off is 7 p.m. at T. Edward Davis Gymnasium.

Salem (7-7) had its three-game winning streak snapped in an 80-67 loss Sunday at Notre Dame College (Ohio). The Tigers cut an 18-point deficit down to single digits after Notre Dame broke away from a one-point halftime lead.
Shawn Christian led four Tigers in double figures with 17 points.

The Tigers are playing their first home contest since defeating Seton Hill University 86-71 December 1. Salem has won its last three games at T. Edward Davis Gymnasium since dropping its home opener.

Central State (6-6) is coming off an 82-69 loss Saturday at Clark Atlanta University.

Salem snapped a six-game losing skid to Central State with an 85-79 home victory over the Marauders last February.
Marko Tutunovic led the Tigers with 19 points off the bench, while
Malique Ross dished out seven assists.

Tonight's contest is the Tigers' fourth game in a span of eight days. Salem is off until Monday when the Tigers play host to Cheyney University as part of a doubleheader with Salem women's basketball.
