Salem (17-7) topped the 100-point mark in a pair of wins at Oakland City University (Ind.) over the weekend. The Tigers won 125-96 Friday and pulled away from a one-point halftime lead Saturday for a 116-102 victory.
Fonz Hale scored 27 points in Friday's contest and
Jordan Forbes poured in 32 points Saturday.

The winning streak is Salem's longest since the Tigers won their first 13 games of the 2001-02 season.

Shawn Christian leads the nation in three-point field goals made per game with 3.95 three's per contest. Christian has eight games this season with at least five 3-pointers, including a pair of games with eight 3's.

The Tigers are also ranked among the top 10 in the nation in three team statistical categories. Salem ranks third in the nation in defensive rebounds per game (30.00), sixth in steals per game (10.4) and 10th in three-pointers per game (11.9). The Tigers' 88.7 points per game rank 14th in the nation.

Alderson Broaddus (8-17) is playing its second consecutive game on Salem's homecourt due to repairs to its own gym. The Battlers held off Kentucky Wesleyan 64-61 Saturday, blocking a long-range three-point attempt at the buzzer.

Salem concludes regular season play Saturday as the Tigers play host to Bluefield State College. Seniors
