Clarion, PA- After a back-and-forth battle and a late lead change with one minute remaining, Salem University men's basketball fell at Clarion University 91-87 on Saturday. Jordan Forbes led all players with a season high 26 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.

How it happened:

• After a slow start, Jordan Forbes took it to the hoop to put the Tigers ahead by one midway through the first half. Tied with 1:37 remining, two threes' from Fonz Hale and one from Aleksa Dobrijevic put the Tigers ahead 46-39 at the half.
• A fast break dunk by Tanner Barron and free throw by Forbes put the Tigers at their largest lead of the game at 11 with 7:52 remaining.
• With 1:45 left in the game, Clarion tied it up 84-84 after a three from Mason Mraz. Down by four with nine seconds remaining, Dobrijevic drained a corner three to pull the Tigers within one of the Golden Eagles. After being forced to foul late in the game, Clarion went on to make three foul shots to go ahead 91-87. 

Stat Highlights: 

• Jordan Forbes secured a double double with a season high of 26 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists.
• Two other Tigers posted double digit scoring: Barron Tanner with 18 and Aleksa Dobrijevic with 15. Dobrijevic shot 5-6 from the field and 5-5 beyond the arch.

The Tigers return to action February 23^rd and 24^th at Gannon University.
