Washington, PA- Salem University baseball fell at California University of Pennsylvania 5-0 Tuesday. Noah Suarez had one of the Tigers hits on the day along with two walks.
How It Happened:
The Tigers went scoreless while the Vulcans went on to score five. The Vulcans jumped on the board early scoring two in the first, going on to score two in the third and one in the fourth. The Tigers had a chance to put one on the board in the fifth after two walks to start the inning but couldn't capitalize on them. Jason Gomez took the loss for the Tigers going three innings giving up five hits, four runs, and striking out three.
The Tigers will host Wright State Lake University in a double header Sunday, March 27th starting at 1 p.m.
