SALEM, West Virginia - This evening Salem was the host to Bluefield State University who took all the set wins from the Tigers. The first set the tigers went down 16 – 24. During the second set Salem came back with some energy and kept Bluefield on their toes scoring 20 to their 25. During the last set Bluefield came out of the gate strong and overpowered the tigers allowing them no room to catch up, the final set score showing 9 – 25.

Makhia Hinton had an led the tigers on offense with 7 kills and one assist, she also had 5 digs.
Clanae Davis had 3 kills and 2 digs for the Tigers.
Trinity Eliasen had 2 kills, 4 assists and 4 digs.
Gabriela Chaparro Coss had 8 assists and 5 digs for the night and
Brianna Sotelo had a great defensive game with 11 total digs and 1 kill. This wasn't the outcome the Tigers were looking for tonight but they have a chance to redeem themselves tomorrow.
