The tigers had a busy past two days facing off against Alderson Broaddus University on Tuesday and Davis & Elkins College on Wednesday. The tigers took down each team absolutely dominating 23-13 over AB and 8-4 over D&E.

During the first game against Alderson Broaddus the tigers took an early lead putting up 4 runs in the second against AB's 2. In the next inning the Salem scored 7 runs and the Battlers put up an impressive 11 runs – however this was the last they scored. Salem then continued on to score another 12 runs closing the game 23-13.
Tyler Shinn finished the game with 4 runs, 3 RBI's and 2 hits.
Ben Matos had 3 RBI's , 4 Hits and 2 runs. Luis Angartita and
Jacob Hurley also had 3 RBI's and a hit each.
Jose Lojo, Brett Her and
Aaron Forbes each had 2 hits and 2 Runs.

In Wednesdays game agains D&E the senator scored the first run. In the third inning the tigers came alive when
Luis Angarita hit a single brining home
Jose Lojo. Angarita the scored thanks to a sacrifice fly out from
Keegan Oliver.
Ethyn Barnitz the hit a home run, which was followed by a ground out from
Brett Ehr that allowed Angarita to score. The last run of the inning was scored thanks to a single from Angarita. In the 8
th inning Barnitz hit yet another home run,
Brett Ehr followed this with a triple, bringing home Lojo. Inning 9 brought one more run scored by Kaden Zacharias thanks to a single from Barnitz. This took the final score to 8-4 to the tigers.

This was a great two days of baseball for the tigers that should put them in good standing for their 3 game match up against Virginia State University that starts Saturday the 22
nd.
