In the first half, the Hilltoppers were able to get off to a fast start on the offensive side of the ball as they would score 4 goals in the first 30 minutes of the game. The Tigers really needed to get the offense rolling before the half, but the Hilltoppers were able to score 2 more goals before half. At the half the Hilltoppers had a comfortable 6-0 lead.

In the second half, the Hilltoppers scored a quick goal at the 46:30 mark to extend their lead to 7-0.
