Salem Outpaced by Hilltoppers in Road Matchup

WEST LIBERTY, WV - The Salem (WV) men's basketball team fell on the road to West Liberty, 112-67, in a non-conference matchup at the ASRC on December 3, 2025. The loss moves Salem's record to 3-2 on the season.

West Liberty took control early, leading 61-32 at the half, and ultimately outscored the Tigers 51-35 in the second period.

Key Performers

Despite the final score, several Tigers turned in solid individual performances:

  • Eman Lawal led the Tigers in scoring with 24 points. Lawal was highly efficient, shooting 8-of-15 from the field and pulling down a team-high 9 rebounds.
