SALEM, West Virginia - After their long road trip down south, the Salem women's volleyball team kicked off a week of 3 consecutive home games this evening in T. Edward Davis Gymnasium. Their opening opponent was the Carlow Celtics, and the Tigers sealed the season sweep of the Celtics 3-0 in the contest.
In set 1, The Tigers battled from behind early, but took control of the game with a 4 point run with reigning USCAA Player of the Week Marika Righi at the service line. The Celtics knotted things back up at 10-10, but Salem again found another pair of runs to take control of the game back.
