FROSTBURG, MD – The Salem Tigers (1-12) fought through a difficult opening frame but could not overcome a balanced Frostburg State attack, falling 68-57 on Wednesday night at Bobcat Arena. Despite the loss, Salem showed significant resilience after a slow start, outscoring the Bobcats in the second and third quarters combined.

The Tigers found themselves in an early hole as Frostburg State jumped out to a 23-8 lead in the first quarter. This early surge was fueled by the Bobcats shooting 83.3% from beyond the arc in the opening period. Salem struggled to find their rhythm early, shooting just 21.4% from the floor in the first ten minutes.
