Box Score GREENSBURG, Pa. – Seton Hill's Bovey Masiole found the back of the net in the second overtime to push SHU past SIU, 2-1 on Tuesday.
The Griffins' Ben Alport registered the game's opening marker just under eight minutes into the contest. Mohamed Bakayoko scored the equalizer in the 59th minute, setting the stage for extra time. Neither team was able to emerge victorious during first overtime, but Masiole was able to net the game-winner three minutes in to the second overtime.
Elliot Cook made three saves for the Tigers.
Each team managed 12 shots, and each placed five of their shots on goal.
SIU plays its home and G-MAC opener on Thursday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. against Alderson Broaddus.
