LEWISBURG, Pa. – The SIU water polo team fell to Division I opponent George Washington on Saturday, but bounced back for a 15-9 victory over Penn State-Behrend.

Djordje Stavrevski and Borislav Kovacev each scored a pair of goals against the Patriots. Michael Broome scored the other Tigers' goal.

Kristopher Arnold made eight saves against GWU.

Stavrevski notched eight goals in the win over Behrend. Kovacev added three goals. Michael Ebenkamp, Roland Maldonado, Chad Doerrman and Broome each added one goal to the SIU attack.

Salem International faces the University of Toronto in an exhibition on Sunday before closing out the weekend against Washington & Jefferson.
