ERIE, Pa. (Oct. 31) – The Tigers split a pair of matches in Erie, Pennsylvania, winning 14-12 over Penn State-Behrend, before falling to Gannon 14-13 in an evening match Saturday evening. 
The Salem International Univesity water polo team (3-11) was a last-second shot away from sending its match with Gannon into an extra session. Sophomore 
Djordje Stavrevski (Pancevo, Serbia/Sportska Gimnazjia Beograd) attempted a shot at the final second, but the Gannon goalkeeper turned the shot away to preserve the victory for the Golden Knights. 
Redshirt-freshman 
Marton Dudok (Budapest, Hungary/Szinyei Merse Pal) led the squad with four goals in the loss at Gannon, while 
Kristopher Arnold (Markham, Ill./Bremen) added three goals. 
Stavrevski led the team with five goals in the victory over Penn State-Behrend, while freshman 
Inigo Velasco (Madrid, Spain/Colegio San Agustín) tallied three goals of his own in the loss. 
The Tigers are headed to the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Southern Division Championships this Saturday, Nov. 6 when they head to Bucknell in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Stay tuned to SIUTigerPride.com for schedule updates.
