ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Sept. 6) -- The Salem International University water polo team was defeated in two contests and lost a pair of exhibitions Saturday and Sunday afternoon to open the 2015 season.
The losses drop the Tigers to 0-2 this season. Salem International was defeated 20-9 by the United States Navel Academy and 21-10 by Fordham, while dropping exhibitions to Mt. San Antonio and Diablo Valley.

Mike Roake (Aurora, Ill. / Metea Valley) led the way in the loss to Navy with three goals, apiece. Sophomore Djorde Stavrevski (Pancevo, Serbia / Sportska Gimnazjia Beograd) paced the team's effort with three goals in the loss to Fordham, while freshman
Marton Dudok (Budapest, Hungary / Szinyei Merse Pal) chipped in two in the game. In net, freshman
Andrew Perry (San Bernardino, Calif. / Cajon) tallied 13 saves in the loss against Fordham.
