Women's Tennis drops two G-MAC matches


ELKINS, W.Va. (April 16) – The Tigers dropped a pair of Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) matches to Alderson Broaddus and Davis & Elkins Friday and Saturday afternoons.
 
The Salem International women's tennis team (4-18, 1-5 G-MAC) lost to Alderson Broaddus 9-0 on Friday, before the Tigers lost to Davis & Elkins 8-1 on Saturday.
 
The Tigers lone win came at No. 3 doubles against Davis & Elkins, where freshmen Kathryne Mathis (Baytown, Texas/Ross S. Sterling) and Kaija Scott (Miami, Fla./Independence) picked up an 8-2 win.
 
Salem International wraps up the regular season when they take on Kentucky Wesleyan on Friday, April 22 on the road at 2 p.m.
