LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The SIU water polo team opened play at the Bucknell Invitational on Friday evening. The Tigers dropped a 24-8 decision to the host Bison. 

Djorjde Stavrevski and Miles Popovic each tallied a trio of goals. Inigo Velasco and Chad Doermann registered one goal apiece.

The Tigers jump back in the pool on Staurday at 12 p.m. against St. Francis (NY).
