LEWISBURG, Pa. – The SIU water polo team returned to the pool on Saturday afternoon for day two of the Bucknell Invitational. The Tigers dropped the day's opening contest to St. Francis by a score of 22-12, before being dealt a 16-4 setback at the hands of nationally-ranked Harvard.
Djordje Stavrevski found the back of the net on six occasions against the Terriers. Milos Popovic tallied three goals, Marton Dudok scored a pair of goals and Mike Roake notched one goal for SIU.
David Roake, Dudok, Popovic and Stavrevski each registered one goal versus the Crimson.
Stavrevski's seven-goal day moves him within three goals of becoming SIU's all-time leader.
The Tigers play Toronto in an exhibition on Sunday afternoon.
