Box Score FINDLAY, Ohio (Sept. 2) The Tigers were defeated by Findlay 2-0 Friday night in each team's season opening match.
 
The Salem International men's soccer team (0-1) allowed a goal early on in the second minute of play and was unable to recover. A goal in the 40^th minute by the Oilers sealed the victory for the hosts and sent the Tigers to a loss in its season debut.
 
 Junior goalkeeper Dom Gillespie (Whitley Bay, England/Whitley Bay) made three saves in the loss, while senior Mohamed Ali Khalaf (Jabriya, Kuwait/Jabriya Indian School) and sophomore Danny Carnalla (Whittier, Calif./California) each had a shot on goal.
 
The Tigers return to action Sunday, September 4 when they take on Tiffin at 2 p.m.
