MURFREESBORO, NC - Due to impending weather that is expected to be in the Murfreesboro area on Saturday (Feb. 25), the doubleheader scheduled between Salem International University and Chowan University will now start at 11 a.m. The twin bill between the Tigers and Hawks was originally scheduled for 1 p.m.

The Tigers enter play on Saturday with a 2-0 record after opening the 2016-17 season with a sweep of Shaw University.

Following the doubleheader on Saturday against Chowan, the Tigers will head to Elizabeth City, North Carolina for a twin bill with Elizabeth City State University beginning at 1 p.m.
