SALEM, WV - The Salem International University softball and baseball teams will both be in action this weekend to start the month of April. In softball, the Tigers will head to Cedarville University on Saturday, April 1 for a doubleheader with the YellowJackets, while baseball hosts Davis & Elkins College at Frank Loria Memorial Field on Sunday, April 2 at 12 p.m.

The doubleheader on Saturday between the Tigers and YellowJackets is a make-up from earlier this season. The doubleheader was originally scheduled to be played in Salem back on March 16, but was postponed due to weather. The twin bill is scheduled to start at 12 p.m. and will feature live stats courtesy of Cedarville University. Links to the live stats can be found on the softball schedule at www.siutigerpride.com.

Sunday's doubleheader between the Tigers and Senators was recently added to the schedule after both teams had a mutual off-weekend. The Senators will make the trip to The Frank for a pair of games beginning at 12 p.m. Live stats for both games can be found on the baseball schedule at www.siutigerpride.com. The Tigers then head to California, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, April 4 for a pair of games against the Vulcans beginning at 1 p.m.
