The spring semester proved to be another successful one in the classroom for the student-athletes at Salem University, as the Tigers combined for an impressive 3.45 overall athletic department GPA.
Leading the way was the women's tennis program, which posted a department-best 3.86 GPA during the spring term. The women's water polo team followed closely behind with a 3.73 GPA, while the men's and women's swimming programs continued to excel academically, highlighted by the men's swimmers earning a 3.70 team GPA.
Both the softball and women's basketball programs finished the semester with matching 3.67 GPAs, continuing a strong tradition of success in both competition and the classroom. Men's tennis also turned in an outstanding academic performance with a 3.50 GPA.
Additional strong performances included baseball with 3.46, men's soccer at 3.44, volleyball at 3.40, and men's basketball at 3.37. The men's water polo team posted a 3.30 GPA, while women's soccer finished at 3.27, and men's wrestling recorded a 3.05 GPA.
The spring semester results reflect Salem University's continued commitment to academic achievement and student-athlete development across all athletic programs.
