MURFREESBORO, N.C. (Feb. 15, 2018) — Facing a deep Chowan University Hawks, the Salem University Tigers women's tennis team dropped its match 9-0.
On a beautifully sunny day, the Tigers displayed great resiliency through heart and hustle, but struggled to match the depth of the defending Conference Carolinas champions.
"We have a tough schedule, but instead of it working against us, I see it working for us every single practice and match," Head Coach Todd Tucker said. "My girls don't care who they play. They know if they have a winning attitude on and off the court, they'll get better and that's all they care about. i'm thankful to have such great girls."
