BUCKHANNON, W. Va. (March 24, 2018) – The Salem University Tigers women's tennis team lost 6-3 to the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats on the road.
Playing in the top spot,
Kristina Vuksanovic defeated Rebekka Heigermoster in three sets. Each went down to the wire with Vuksanovic going into extra points to win by two.
"Kristina played her best tennis of the season," Head Coach
Todd Tucker said. "The girls are all fighting hard and learning the game of tennis with each match."
Salem will resume action on March 30 in Wise, Virginia against the University of Virginia's College at Wise.
