LEWISBURG, Pa. –The Salem University men's water polo team was downed 22-11 by Division I Bucknell, Sunday evening in the Bucknell Invitational.
The Tigers were led by junior
Milos Popovic who scored a team-high four goals.
Seven Tigers scored one goal including freshman
Austin Kephart, senior
Inigo Velasco, sophomore
Michael Rojas, junior
Salvador Orozco, freshman
Mike Diaz, sophomore
Petar Leontijevic and sophomore
Uros Jevtic.
Despite the losses this weekend, the Tigers take home many positive things moving forward and will enjoy a home crowd this coming weekend.
Earlier in the day, the Tigers downed the University of Toronto in an exhibition match 14-11.
Salem is back in action this Saturday for its home opener as its host McKendree at 9:00 a.m. and Monmouth at 2:50 p.m.
