Tigers Wrap Up Navy Open

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Salem University men's water polo team fell to Division I No. 20 Wagner 26-9 on the second day of the 2018 Navy Open, Sunday morning.

With the loss, the Tigers fall to 0-3 on the season.

Sophomore Michael Rojas and junior Robert Juhas led the way for the Tigers as they netted three goals each.

Junior Milos Popovic added two goals in the game, while sophomore Petar Leontijevic scored one goal.

The Tigers opened the season with three Division I teams and had impressive performances over the weekend.

This afternoon, Salem competed in an exhibition match against Lindenwood and were edged by Lions 17-16.

The Tigers hit the pool Friday as they travel to Erie, Pa. for the Mercyhurst Invite with a match against Penn State Behrend at 7:00 p.m.
