SALEM, W.Va. –The Salem University men's water polo team defeated Washington & Jefferson 18–9 on Senior Day, Sunday afternoon.
With the win, the Tigers improve to 4-8 on the season.
The Tigers' scoring attack was led by junior
Robert Juhas as he netted six goals, while classmate
Milos Popovic tossed-in five.
Sophomore
Petar Leontijevic notched three goals as freshman
Austin Kephart added two goals, while senior
Inigo Velasco and sophomore
Uros Jevtic had one goal each.
Senior
Mateo Kozomara finished the match in goal with 12 saves.
Next up for the Tigers, they are set to travel to Erie, Pa. Saturday for a match against McKendree at 9:30 a.m.
