Salem University fell to Fairmont State University 144-99 in a women's swimming dual meet Friday at Fairmont, W.Va. The loss snapped the Tigers' streak of two straight wins in dual meets.
 
Lauren Platz posted the Tigers' first win of the night, finishing first in the 50 yard backstroke. Chloe Smart won the 100 yard freestyle, while Erin Zappia finished first in the 50 yard butterfly.
 
Salem is idle until after Thanksgiving when the Tigers travel to East Meadow, N.Y., to compete in the Eastern College Athletic Conference Championship. The three-day meet runs December 6-8.
