BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –The Salem University women's water polo team fought tough against Division I No. 20 Indiana as it fell 14-9, Friday night.
The Tigers notched 25 shots with a .360 shooting percentage, while Indiana recorded 36 shots with a .389 shooting percentage.

Chloe Woodbine lead the way as they each posted three goals, while Woodbine added an assist.
Junior
Maryanna Antoniou tossed-in two goals, while freshman
Erin Zappia added one.
Salem got on the board first as Woodbine launched the ball for a goal at 7:22 in the first period as Salem led IU 1-0.
The Tigers were tied with Indiana 4-4 at the end of the first period. Just one goal was scored in the second period as Indiana led 5-4 at the half way point.
Indiana outscored Salem by four in the second half to secure the win. Salem played a tough match and looks to get things rolling tomorrow.
The Tigers are back in the pool tomorrow as they matchup with California State East Bay at 12:40 p.m.
