MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Salem University women's tennis team claimed its ninth-straight win as it downed Millersville 6-1, Sunday afternoon.
The win takes Salem to 12-2 on the season.
In doubles, the women dominated Millersville taking all three sets. At No. 1, freshman
Karolina Glowinska and sophomore
Brianna Vasquez downed Jones and Morris 6-2.

Iryna Rusyn and freshman
Julia Piatek defeated Rovenolt and Grohoski 6-3 at No. 2, while at No. 3 sophomore
Kristina Vuksanovic and freshman
Ana Kunic beat Heckert and Hanus 6-1 to give the Tigers the 1-0 advantage.
In singles, Piatek defeated Jones 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1, while teammate Kunic downed Morris 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2.
At No. 3, Glowinska picked up a win against Heckert 6-1, 6-1. Rusyn won No. 4 against Hanus 6-2, 6-0.
Vuksanovic earned another win for the Tigers against Grohoski 6-1, 6-2 at No. 5.
Vasquez fell at No. 6 to Weaver 5-7, 2-6, but the Tigers earned the win 6-1.
The Tigers take on Kutztown today at 2:30 p.m.
