Box Score Salem University kept the match scoreless through the 38th minute, but Carson-Newman broke the deadlock and pulled away in the second half to defeat the Tigers 4-0 in NCAA Division II men's soccer Tuesday at Jefferson City, Tenn. Goalkeeper Luis Felipe Ramirez recorded five saves for the Tigers.

Salem heads east for a pair of matches this weekend. The Tigers are in Philadelphia, Pa., Friday to take on Chestnut Hill College, then travel to Orangeburg, N.Y., for a Sunday match-up against Dominican College.
