Salem (5-13) began a five-game road stretch Saturday with a 73-65 loss at Bluefield State College.
Endia Jones and
Precious Price led the Tigers with 12 points apiece. The loss snapped the Tigers' two-game winning streak, as well as two consecutive 100-point scoring games.

Nia Bishop leads a balanced scoring attack with 16.2 points per game, followed by
Daniela Quesada with an 11.1 scoring average.
Nerea Arambarri Fernandez and
Alicia Smith are both averaging more than nine points per game, while
Aaliyah Holmes and
Precious Price have joined Bishop with 20-point scoring performances this season.

Salem is tied for second in the nation with 11.1 three-point field goals per game. The Tigers are the only NCAA II team this season with two games with at least 20 three-pointers: January 13 vs. Cheyney University (20) and January 23 vs. Ohio Valley University (21).

District of Columbia (5-14) is coming off a 76-58 loss to St. Thomas Aquinas Saturday.

Tonight's contest is the first meeting between the two teams since UDC defeated Salem February 12, 2011.
