Salem University returns to action this afternoon as the Tigers travel to West Liberty, W.Va., to take on West Liberty University in a softball doubleheader. Game time is 1 p.m.

Due to a schedule change, today's games will be Salem's last until the Tigers' spring break trip to Florida next week. Monday's home doubleheader against Washington Adventist University has been postponed until March 27.

Salem (3-3) dropped a pair of one-run contests Tuesday at Concord University. The Tigers fell 4-3 in the opener after taking a three-run lead, then rallied from a two-run deficit in the nightcap before falling 3-2.
Casey Moritz had two hits and
Sydney McPherson drove in two runs in game one.
Rosey Romick went the distance in the circle in game two and did not allow any earned runs.

West Liberty (2-3) opened its season with five games at the University of Southern Indiana Tournament.

Salem is off all of this week and then heads to Winter Haven, Fla., March 10-16 for 10 contests in the Spring Games.
