Salem, WV – Salem University fell in two home games against Concord University on Thursday and Central State University on Friday.
Game One:

• After dropping the first set to the Mountain Lions, the Tigers took the 10-9 lead in the second off back – to – back aces by Mykenzie Clyncke.
• A kill by Neryssa Donnell rounded out a five point run for the Tigers to be on top 19-16.
•  The Tigers took set two after a miscue from Concord 25-23.
• The Mountain Lions scored four or more consecutive points five times to take the third set 25-10.
• The Tigers struck first in the fourth set led with a kill by Nakyia Middleton to have the 2-0 lead.
• After the Mountain Lions fought back, the Tigers were able to tie it up 7-7 with a kill from Danielle Burns.
• Makhia Hinton later had a kill for the Tigers before the Mountain Lions would score the final two points to take the set 25-18.

Game Two:

• After dropping the first two sets 25-14 and 25-12 to the Marauders, the Tigers scored six consecutive in the third set to go ahead 10-7.
• The Tigers maintained the lead for the majority of the set until the Marauders went on a run of six to take the lead 20-18.
• The Tigers would tie it up late in the set at 24 before the Marauders would score the final two points of the match to take the set 26-24.
