Box Score Virginia Beach, VA – Salem University men's soccer defeated Regent University with a season high of five goals to one on Friday.
The Tigers struck early in the sixth minute after Kaito Sawada found David Teruel Nuno to go ahead 1-0. After the Royals tied it up in the 17th minute, Nuno netted another goal for the Tigers to put them back in the lead 2-1.
Nuno completed the hat-trick in the 52nd minute off an assist by Diego Losada to add to the Tiger lead 3-1. Samir Doullouz and Losada each contributed one goal with Aidan Mahoney having two assists to push the Tigers over Regent University.
