Box Score Salem, WV- After honoring seniors Nicholas Collins and Aitor Lopez, the Tigers defeated Asbury University 2-1 Friday at Catalano Stadium.
The Tigers got on the board late in the first half when Diego Losada found the back of the net after a blocked attempt from Collins. This took the Tigers into the half 1-0.
The Eagles tied it up in the 76th minute 1-1. The Tigers answered back four minutes later off a goal by Mauricio Aguilar Renovales to come away with the 2-1 senior day victory.
The Tigers outshot the Eagles 15 to 9 with six shots on goal. Tiger Goalkeeper Nikolas Zagar had three saves on the day. Â
